1/3 cup brown sugar

2/3 cup nut butter

1/2 cup brown rice syrup

1/2 cup butter

Mix all ingredients; grease a 9 X 13 pan and preheat oven to 350.

Add to mixture:

2 tsp. vanilla

3 cups oats

1/4 cup flax seeds

1/2 cup chopped nuts

OR add other alternatives:  chocolate chips, dried fruit, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, peanuts, whatever!

Bake for 20 minutes at 350.  Cool before cutting.
